A Embaixada do Reino do Bahrein celebrou nesta quarta, dia 7, o 23º Aniversário de Ascensão ao Trono de Sua Majestade o Rei Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa e também a comemoração da Data Nacional do país.
Com muito requinte e sofisticação, o evento ocorrido no Clube Monte Líbano, contou com a presença de autoridades, membros do corpo diplomático e convidados ilustres como a primeira-dama do Brasil, Michelle Bolsonaro.
No jantar, um delicioso menu foi servido aos convidados que puderam se deliciar com um bouquet de folhas verdes ao vinagrete de castanhas e brie a milanesa, tortelli de burrata ao molho de tomates com manjericão, robalo ao limão siciliano e musseline de duas batatas, steak ao molho rôti e risoto de grana com trifolato de cogumelos e tiramisu para sobremesa. Ao final do evento todos foram agraciados com doces finos.
O Embaixador Bader Hassan Al Helaibi iniciou seu discurso enfatizando que o Bahrein continua a ser um exemplo de coexistência e paz entre as religiões. Em novembro, o país recebeu a visita histórica do Papa Francisco. "No meu país, as mesquitas, sinagogas, igrejas e templos hindus estão lado a lado, onde também está localizada a catedral "Nossa Senhora dos Árabes". Essa catedral é a primeira e a maior catedral do Golfo Árabe, inaugurada em 2021", destacou o Embaixador.
Relação Bahrein-Brasil
Com relação ao relacionamento com o Brasil, Bader Hassan citou que a parceria entre os países cresceu nos últimos quatro anos. O Bahrein é o quarto maior parceiro comercial árabe do Brasil e o Brasil é o terceiro maior parceiro comercial do Reino do Bahrein.
O Embaixador ainda fez um agradecimento especial aos parlamentares das duas casas legislativas que trabalharam para criar os dois Grupos Parlamentares Brasil-Bahrein.
O objetivo do grupo é desempenhar um papel importante na comunicação e ativação da diplomacia parlamentar entre os dois países amigos.

With a lot of refinement and sophistication, the event took place at the Monte Líbano Club, with the presence of authorities, members of the diplomatic corps and illustrious guests, such as the first lady of Brazil, Michelle Bolsonaro. In the dinner, a delicious menu was served to the guests, who could enjoy a green leaves bouquet with chestnut vinaigrette and brie a milanesa, burrata tortelli with tomato and basil sauce, sea bass with Sicilian lemon and two potato musseline, steak with rôti sauce and grana risotto with mushroom trifolate, and tiramisu for dessert. At the end of the event everyone received fine sweets.
Ambassador Bader Hassan Al Helaibi began his speech by emphasizing that Bahrain continues to be an example of coexistence and peace between religions. In November, the country received a historic visit from Pope Francis. "In my country, the mosques, synagogues, churches and Hindu temples are side by side, where the cathedral "Our Lady of the Arabs" is also located. This cathedral is the first and the largest cathedral in the Arabian Gulf, opening in 2021," the Ambassador pointed out.
Bahrain-Brazil Relationship
With regards to the relationship with Brazil, Bader Hassan cited that the partnership between the countries has grown in the last four years. Bahrain is the fourth largest Arab trade partner of Brazil and Brazil is the third largest trade partner of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Ambassador also gave a special thanks to the parliamentarians of both legislative houses who worked to create the two Brazil-Bahrain Parliamentary Groups. The objective of the group is to play an important role in the communication and activation of parliamentary diplomacy between the two friendly countries.
