As comemorações do 5º Aniversário da Região Administrativa Especial de Oé-cusse Ambeno (RAEOA) ficarão na História da Oé-Cisse e de Timor-Leste pela inauguração do Aeroporto Internacional “Rota do Sândalo”, realizada pelo Presidente da República, Dr. Francisco Guterres Lú Olo.
Estavam presentes no evento, membros do Governo, Deputados, o Governador de Nusa Tengra Timur (NTT) e delegação, entre muitas outras personalidades nacionais e internacionais. Na noite de 18 de Junho, o Presidente da RAEOA ofereceu ao Chefe de Estado e seus convidados um jantar de Gala pelo 5° Aniversário da Criação da RAEOA, no salão do Hotel Ambeno, que brevemente receberá as obras que o transformarão na primeira unidade hoteleira de 5 estrelas na Região e em Timor-Leste.
Os festejos culminaram com um espetáculo musical com a participação de artistas nacionais e internacionais, como Marvi the Voice, Alda, NourAly, Cidália, Quito Belo the Band, Gerson Oliveira e Vidigal Pinto the Band, Ello-Marcello, Mário Klau, Vicky Salamor e Mitha Talahatu. O momento mais alto da cerimônia foi a chegada de um Airbus vindo de Jakarta (Indonésia), e pela primeira vez, em Timor-Leste, a utilização de uma manga.
Aeroporto Internacional:
O Aeroporto dispõe de facilidades e equipamentos modernos que permitem obter certificação de operações internacionais, cumprindo com as normas aplicáveis da OACI (ICAO) e IATA, em termos de segurança. O local está preparado para receber sem limitações de aeronaves, tipo Airbus ou Boeing B737-800. Dispõe também de facilidades para o processamento de carga e de animais vivos, incluindo serviços de quarentena, de forma a contribuir para uma nova centralidade do enclave de Oé-cusse Ambeno.
O aeroporto com uma pista de 2.200m de comprimento, 45m de largura e estacionamento para 7 aeronaves, em simultâneo, pode processar mais 500 passageiros por hora entre partidas e chegadas. Dispõe também de sistemas automáticos de geração de energia de emergência, equipamentos de serviços de terra para apoio às aeronaves e de uma torre de controle com sistemas de comunicação modernos e completos, entre outros. Para o Presidente da Autoridade da Região Administrativa Especial de Oé-cusse Ambeno (RAEOA), Dr. Mari Alkatiri, as infraestruturas irão beneficiar os habitantes de Oé-Cusse, e aos visitantes, seja em visita de negócios ou em turismo.
The celebrations of the 5th Anniversary of the Special Administrative Region of Oé-cusse Ambeno (RAEOA) will be in the History of Oé-Cisse and Timor-Leste for the inauguration of the International Airport "Sandalwood Route", held by the President of the Republic, Dr. Francisco Guterres Lú Olo.
Present at the event were members of the Government, Deputies, the Governor of Nusa Tengra Timur (NTT) and delegation, among many other national and international personalities. On the evening of 18 June, the President of RAEOA offered to the Head of State and his guests a Gala dinner for the 5th Anniversary of the Creation of RAEOA, in the hall of Hotel Ambeno, which will soon receive the works that will transform it into the first hotel unit of 5 stars in the Region and in Timor-Leste.
The celebrations culminated in a musical performance with the participation of national and international artists such as Marvi the Voice, Alda, NourAly, Cidália, Quito Belo the Band, Gerson Oliveira and Vidigal Pinto the Band, Ello-Marcello, Mário Klau, Vicky Salamor and Mitha Talahatu. The highest moment of the ceremony was the arrival of an Airbus from Jakarta (Indonesia), and for the first time, in Timor-Leste, the use of a sleeve.
The Airport has modern facilities and equipment that allow the certification of international operations, complying with the applicable ICAO (IATA) and IATA standards, in terms of safety. The site is prepared to receive unrestricted Airbus or Boeing B737-800 aircraft. It also has facilities for the processing of cargo and live animals, including quarantine services, in order to contribute to a new centrality of the enclave of Oé-cusse Ambeno.
The airport with a 2,200m long track, 45m wide and parking for 7 aircraft, simultaneously can process an additional 500 passengers per hour between departures and arrivals. It also has automatic emergency power generation systems, earth support equipment to support aircraft and a control tower with modern and complete communication systems, among others. For the President of the Authority of the Special Administrative Region of Oé-cusse Ambeno (RAEOA), Dr. Mari Alkatiri, the infrastructure will benefit the inhabitants of Oé-Cusse, and visitors, whether on business or in tourism.
